prepare for the summmer

the first thing you need to have is good tools for the job,no use trying to make do and mend with old out of date ones .

during the winter always clean the garden tools,lawnmower,strimmer,etc and give them a light coat of oil to stop rust.

around the middle of april start the lawnmower a couple of times and then when your ready to use it , and it will be easier to start.

march,april is the time to cut back and tidy up any bushes,hedges,etc that have got over grown.

clear out old flowers and plants from the flower beds and boxes ready for this years blooms.
